The Euromed University of Fes had the honor of welcoming H.E. Ms. Helena Nolan, Ambassador of Ireland to Rabat, accompanied by a delegation comprising Melanie Lynch, Founder, CEO & Creative Director of HerStory and Our Story, Dr. Antonia Hart, historian of female entrepreneurship, Dr. Salomé Mbugua, CEO of AkiDwA and Commissioner at the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission, as well as Nour-Elhouda Loqmane, Public Diplomacy and Consular Officer, for a courtesy visit as part of a drive for academic and cultural rapprochement.

This visit allowed the delegation to discover the University's eco-responsible campus, its academic, research, and well-being infrastructures, as well as the richness of its multidisciplinary educational offerings. The discussions focused particularly on prospects for cooperation between UEMF and Irish institutions, notably in the areas of student mobility, academic partnerships, and cultural collaborations, in a spirit of international openness and intercultural dialogue.

The holding, on this occasion, of the conference "Women’s Career Pathways: what shapes women’s professional lives?", organized as part of the St Brigid’s Day celebrations—an emblematic day in Ireland honoring the creativity, resilience, and contribution of women to society—provided a space for exchange between international speakers, students, and teacher-researchers. Above all, it served to reinforce the University's commitment to equality, female leadership, and the production of knowledge.
