As part of its 2025–2026 Lecture Series, the Euromed University of Fes hosted a lecture titled "Women and Creativity," delivered by Zohra Lhioui, a professor of comparative literature at Moulay Ismail University.

During her talk, the speaker highlighted the essential place of female creativity in the construction of cultures and collective imaginaries. She recalled that the artistic, literary, and intellectual expression of women constitutes a major vehicle for reflection on society, identity, and the human experience.

The lecture also provided an analysis of works created by Moroccan women artists, allowing for an exploration of the various forms that creation in the feminine can take. These works bear witness to unique sensibilities and perspectives on the social, cultural, and personal realities that shape the female experience.

Rich in discussion, the event offered participants a space for reflection on the links between artistic creation, critical thought, and the place of women in contemporary cultural production.

Through this lecture series, the Euromed University of Fes reaffirms its commitment to fostering intellectual dialogue, the dissemination of knowledge, and opening its academic community to themes at the intersection of the humanities, culture, and society.
