Led by Prof. Dominique Bourg, a philosopher and honorary professor at the University of Lausanne, this presentation offered a philosophical reading of the issues raised by the development of intelligent technologies, addressing the limits of technological rationality as well as the place of humanity in the face of current scientific and societal shifts.
Through this conference, participants were invited to question the boundaries between human and artificial intelligence, through reflections on the notion of understanding, the search for meaning, and new forms of comprehending the world in a context marked by technological acceleration.
This event aligns with the UEMF's commitment to promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and critical thinking, by fostering academic exchanges around major contemporary philosophical, scientific, and societal issues.
