Participation of Prof. Mostapha Bousmina at the International Conference in Rome: training and social cohesion

As part of EU-Africa international cooperation, an event under the theme: "High training and social cohesion for the management of international demographic dynamics", was organized by Multiversity, the Pegaso Digital University and the Digital Institution for Mediterranean, Europe and Africa (MEDEA). The event held in Rome, the Sistine Chapel, on March 13, 2024, was attended by the President of the Euromed University of Fez, Prof. Mostapha Bousmina.


In the presence of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella and the President of the Republic of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro-Preca, discussions took place on cooperation between Europe and Africa in the field of education and professional training. The conference was also attended by other eminent personalities, notably the Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Democracy and Demography, Dubravka Ŝuica.  


Luciano Violante, President of Multiversity, highlighted during his speech how digital universities can be fundamental tools for the promotion of skills, social inclusion, economic growth and sustainability in the current global context. 


In this context, digital training, in particular the professional training of qualified specialists, becomes vital to prepare generations capable of contributing to the development of the economy and the social development of our continent, Africa.


This participation reflects the commitment of the Euromed University of Fez to the values ​​of inclusion, as well as its desire to place innovation and digital technology at the heart of its priorities to make the University a dynamic, inclusive and focused on the future, where innovation and digital technology play a central role in training and research.
