Academic Director of EBS
Abdessamad Rhalimi is a teacher-researcher in economics and management sciences. After an initial experience as a manager in a consulting firm, he spent over 17 years working in various business schools and universities in Morocco and France, where he taught and held several positions of academic responsibility, before joining the Euromed Business School (EBS) in 2020, where he now serves as Director.
With a strong academic background, he earned a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies (DEA) in Industrial Economics, Human Resource Strategies, and Quantitative Methods from Panthéon-Assas University in Paris, before defending a doctoral thesis in management science at Sorbonne Paris Nord University. His dissertation, which adopts an interdisciplinary perspective, focuses on the careers of female executives and issues related to the glass ceiling, particularly within the Moroccan socio-economic context.
Dr. Rhalimi is an associate researcher at the RIEMAS Think Tank and a member of the Cité du Genre in Paris. His research primarily focuses on gender dynamics within organizations in Morocco and Africa, exploring the specific obstacles women face in their career progression and the mechanisms of the glass ceiling. He is also interested in diversity management and gender balance, viewing these elements as essential levers for responsible and high-performing management.
Furthermore, Dr. Rhalimi is actively involved in issues related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, convinced that companies have a major role to play in building a more equitable and environmentally conscious society.
