ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE AND DIRECTOR OF AUDIT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
Dr. Tayeb Ouazzani Chahdi is the Director of Audit and Quality Assurance and an Associate Professor of Management Science at Euromed University in Fez. A native of Fez, he earned his scientific baccalaureate with High Honors before continuing his studies at the National School of Commerce and Management in Tangier, where he specialized in audit and management control, also with honors. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science, which he defended with the highest distinction, "Très Honorable"; his dissertation focused on "the impact of management control systems on organizational performance: the case of Moroccan SMEs." He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Audencia Business School as part of his commitment to continuous development in management and leadership.
At UEMF, he leverages his expertise to oversee quality management and institutional governance. Since 2020, he has headed the Audit and Quality Assurance Department, where he ensures compliance, monitors internal audits, prepares for certifications and accreditations, and manages the university's participation in international rankings. Concurrently, he teaches at Euromed Business School, delivering courses in performance management, internal audit, finance, and data analysis. As a Microsoft Certified Power BI professional, he designs and deploys interactive dashboards that he uses both in his teaching and in his institutional advisory work.
His research focuses on internal audit, governance, performance management, and the integration of artificial intelligence in higher education. As an author and co-author of several scientific publications, he also mentors master's and doctoral students in their research work. His background is enriched by experience in consulting and audit, which has enabled him to develop an approach that combines academic rigor with professional practice.
An active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Morocco, he contributes to the development and dissemination of internal audit best practices at the national level. His commitment is part of an approach of openness, service, and continuous improvement, with the goal of contributing to the academic and scientific influence of UEMF in Morocco, Africa, and internationally.
