ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SPANISH
Majda Nniya El Berdai is a professor and researcher in Spanish language and culture at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez (UEMF).
She also holds the positions of Faculty Pedagogical Coordinator, Coordinator of the Master's in Collective Intelligence and Innovative Ecosystems in Europe (in partnership with the University of Strasbourg), and Coordinator of the Bachelor's in Translation.
She holds a degree in Pedagogy and a diploma in International Relations, Diplomacy, and Media from the Complutense University of Madrid, a postdoctoral degree in Pedagogical Innovation and Knowledge Management from the University of Málaga, and a Doctorate in Education Sciences from the University of Granada (with Cum Laude honors).
Her research focuses on social and educational inclusion, gender, migration, and interculturality. Her recent publications explore cultural diplomacy, inclusive education, and women's knowledge in the Mediterranean.
Among them: The Impact of Cultural Diplomacy in the Maghreb: A. de Tocqueville and Ibn Khaldoun (Conversations, 2024) and A Project for Sexual and Emotional Education for a Healthy Adolescence (Dykinson, 2024).
She regularly participates in international conferences focusing on migration, gender, cultural diplomacy, and educational innovation.
She is a member of the ICESCO-EUROMED Chair, the UNESCO-EUROMED Chair, and the CIREB (International Coordination of Brachylogical Research and Studies), where she heads the Fez section.
A polyglot (Spanish, French, Arabic, English, and Italian), Majda Nniya El Berdai works to promote an open and inclusive intercultural education, placing the Mediterranean at the heart of her reflections on cultural dialogue, shared memory, and the transmission of knowledge.
