International Symposium: Prof. Hasna SLAMTI represents Euromed University of Fes at Université Côte d’Azur in Nice

In its new edition, following the trajectory of the African Studies meetings in France, the Université Nice-Côte d'Azur organized an international symposium on its Jean d’Angely campus from July 1st to 4th, under the theme: A Race for Ports in Africa? Actors, Territories, and Strategies.

During this 8th edition of the African Studies Meetings in France, Professor Slamti delivered a presentation entitled: "Territorial Stakes in the Face of Connectivity Challenges in Africa: The Case of the Tanger Med Port" as part of her participation in Panel 37 titled "A Race for Ports in Africa? Actors, Territories, and Strategies."

Furthermore, this presentation aimed to shed light on the logistical and geopolitical significance of the Tanger Med port. It also sought to demonstrate that this port is not only a global logistical and maritime hub but also an essential engine for economic and territorial development.
