Terms of payment of study fees

The costs of studying at UEMF include:

  • Competition fee of 700 DH payable at the time of registration. They are only payable after admission.

  • Registration fee for new students or re-registration for former students, of 5,000.00 DH payable upon registration or re-registration;

  • Miscellaneous fees of 1020.00 DH covering insurance, reprography and para-university activities costs payable upon registration;

  • Tuition fees, the amount of which depends on the registration method (Tuition fees) payable in 3 installments whose due dates are:

Payment of study costs is made by:

  • check or cash directly to the UEMF cash register;

  • by bank card at the UEMF cash desk;

  • transfer or payment order to the individual Cashpooling account assigned to each student upon registration. The student keeps the same personal Cashpooling account number throughout their studies at UEMF.

  • electronic payment through the CMI Interbank Electronic Payment Center platform (clickable link below for electronic payment) https://www.fatourati.ma/FatLite/ma/MTC/formulaire?cid=01&fid=1128

  • Students who pay tuition fees in full upon registration benefit from a 7% reduction on registration and tuition fees.

Study financing arrangements

 

1. Financing assistance 

With the aim of equal opportunities and access to higher education for all, the UEMF has a “financing assistance” service. Our team provides its students with the forms required by the various lending organizations and assists them in the procedures for assembling their credit application file.

Request for an “Enseignement Plus” loan to finance studies

Students registered at UEMF have the possibility of taking out a study loan and only repaying it, for example, from the sixth year, i.e. one year after obtaining the Bac+5 diploma.

What is the purpose of the Fund?

Guarantee of bank loans granted to students enrolled in institutes and higher schools of private education for the financing, in part or in full, of registration and tuition fees

Who are the eligible beneficiaries? 

Students who meet the following conditions can benefit from the fund guarantee:

  • be of Moroccan nationality;

  • be at most 25 years old at the time of submitting the bank loan application;

  • provide proof of valid registration or, failing that, a certificate of provisional registration, with a higher institute or school of private education, recognized by the State, in one of the following sectors After :

  • Business Management,

  • economics and finance,

  • accounting,

  • communication and marketing,

  • engineering courses,

  • architecture,

  • health sectors,

  • university scientific courses,

  • preparatory classes,

  • university legal courses,

What are the financing conditions?

Loans are granted by the bank under the following conditions:

  • a loan intended exclusively for the payment of registration fees and/or tuition fees required by the institute or higher school of private education. The loan can also finance the costs of the bank file and the death and disability insurance premium;

  • the amount of the loan must not exceed 250,000.00 DH with a ceiling of 50,000.00 DH per year of study;

  • a maximum duration of 12 years including a maximum 6-year repayment deferral. At the convenience of the bank and the beneficiary, the deferral can either relate only to the principal, or also include interest;

  • an exceptional interest rate of 2%;

  • release of the loan by the bank directly for the benefit of the private higher education establishment;

  • the loan can be granted either to the student, to his guardian or jointly to both parties. It can be transferred from one party to another at any time.

 

What is the guaranteed amount?

60% of the principal credit, plus related interest.

 

How to submit your request?

Through the bank chosen by the beneficiary.

 

 What is the response time from the CCG?

5 working days maximum.

2. Scholarships

Our University was created as a non-profit association called a foundation and serving the public interest. It does not have shareholders, but contributors and donors.

Our mission is public and our management method is private, without the aim of profit.

Our objective is above all to offer higher education and research programs of excellence that meet the best international standards.

Our desire is to make the Euromed University of Fez accessible to a greater number of students, by setting up several categories of scholarships:

excellence scholarships for brilliant students who have distinguished themselves by the excellence of their academic record, regardless of family income;

  • excellence scholarships for brilliant students who have distinguished themselves by the excellence of their academic record regardless of family income.

  • merit scholarships for students from low-income backgrounds with a very good academic record;

  • solidarity scholarships covering tuition, residence and catering costs for very good and most disadvantaged students;

  • “Africa” scholarships for excellent sub-Saharan students with modest incomes;

  • total exemption from study fees for all doctoral students;

  • subsistence grants for doctoral students in the amount of 5,000 DH to 8,000 DH net/month minimum;

  • attractive and competitive scholarships for postdoctoral researchers between 13,000 and 25,000 DH net/month.

 

The excellence scholarship is awarded for the academic year for which the request is made and can only be renewed for subsequent years if the student maintains their level of excellence;

 

All scholarships are examined by a commission which acts in a rigorous, transparent and fair manner. No other consideration can interfere with the sine qua non criteria of excellence.

Tuition scholarship rates (excellence scholarship and merit scholarship)

For each of the two categories of excellence scholarship and merit scholarship, there are four scholarship rates:

  • scholarship to cover 100% of registration and tuition fees

  • scholarship to cover 75% of registration and tuition fees

  • scholarship to cover 50% of registration and tuition fees

  • scholarship to cover 25% of registration and tuition fees

 

How to obtain the UEMF scholarship?

Candidates declared admitted to the admission competition and registered can submit a scholarship application on the application area. The documents required to complete the scholarship application file can be consulted through the links below:

Access to the application area for scholarship applications and submission of files

The process of submitting the scholarship file is similar to that of submitting the application file for competitions. Documents must be scanned and uploaded, in GIF or PDF format. In your application area, you have the right to access, rectify and oppose the processing of your personal data.  

In accordance with Law 09-08 relating to the protection of personal data, your information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of processing the scholarship file and for the purposes of non-nominative statistics.

As soon as your scholarship application is received and deemed admissible with all its supporting documents, the scholarship commission will study it and communicate its decision to you.

NB: Any violation by the scholarship holder of the internal regulations of the UEMF will automatically lead to the cancellation of the scholarship, in addition to the sanctions provided for in the said internal regulations.
