[IA] Signature of an agreement with ICESCO for the creation of a Chair entitled “Women in Science”

The Euromed University of Fez has just signed with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, ICESCO, on May 17, 2021, an agreement for the creation of a Chair entitled ''Women in Science'' and more particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. This chair is granted to Prof. Maha Gmira, a specialist in Artificial Intelligence and who did her doctoral thesis at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, one of the world centers of excellence in artificial intelligence.
The aim of the chair is to conduct finalized research in partnership with the Moroccan industrial world and to attract more doctoral students and especially doctoral women in the field of artificial intelligence. This opportunity also allows us to build links with the best laboratories in the world and ultimately strengthen the University's School of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence , the first engineering school in this field on a Euro-scale.
