Teaching extends over six semesters with transversal modules and specific modules described as follows:

Introduction to the Profession and the National Health System;
Humanities and Social Sciences ;
Biological sciences (anatomo-physiology; microbiology, pharmacology, bio-cellular);
Computer science and bioinformatics;
Mathematics and physical sciences;
Chemistry (general chemistry and analytical chemistry);
Laboratory examinations and biosafety;
Immunology and virology;
Medical Bacteriology exams;
Pathology and cytology;
Clinical biochemistry;
Food Safety ;
Research methodology and biostatistics;
Internships in parasitology, mycology, bacteriology, biochemistry-hematology, immunology-microbiology, genetics and molecular biology and anatomopathology.

Analyze the information necessary to carry out sampling activities with management of equipment and the environment;
Ensure the quality and biosafety of activities carried out in the laboratory while respecting the rules of ethics and bioethics.

Implement diagnostic actions in the field of laboratory techniques;
Analyze the information necessary to carry out sampling activities with management of equipment and the environment and respect for biosecurity;
Research and process professional and scientific data.

Access to the training is open to holders of a scientific baccalaureate or a recognized equivalent diploma who have passed the pre-selection, the written test and the motivation interview.

The License in Laboratory Techniques allows the laureate to work in private medical biology laboratories, in hospital laboratories, in biology and biotechnology laboratories, within medical research centers.

It also allows you to progress towards a master's degree then a doctorate in laboratory techniques and research.
