The language center is a joint UEMF service which provides appropriate language courses in French, English, Arabic and Spanish and pools human and material resources. The center's activities are grouped into four categories:
- Normal education for students in initial training;
- Intensive teaching for certain categories of students or applicants either for an upgrade, or for the preparation of an exam or the achievement of an internationally recognized level;
- Development and continuing training;
- communication in foreign languages.
In addition to language courses, the center organizes meetings and cultural visits, and establishes cooperation and exchange relationships with similar organizations on an international scale .
The center issues its own certificates and can request authorization to issue recognized international certificates following authorization from the University Council.
Center for History, Civilizations and Heritage
The Center aims to contribute to providing UEMF laureates with a Euro-Mediterranean profile, based on openness, exchange and inter-culturality. In addition to formal teaching, the center also offers activities including conference-debates, films, conferences, symposia, and others on:
- The history, civilizations and heritage of the Mediterranean basin.
- EU-Africa relations.
- Regional integration.
- Geopolitics and neighborhood issues and relations between the south and north of the Mediterranean.
- Comparative law.
- Sociological and multicultural approaches…
