“Genetic and Chemical Diversity of Moroccan Cannabis sativa L. And Evaluation of the Biological Activities of different extracts.”

Abstract

This thesis explores the multifaceted applications of cannabis, focusing on its historical, nutritional, medicinal, and industrial aspects. It highlights its economic impact, environmental benefits, and industrial significance (patents and pharmaceutical innovations). Genetic and phytochemical profiling of Moroccan cannabis seeds and flowers reveals compounds with antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, cytotoxic, and toxic properties. The study also demonstrates the medicinal potential of cannabis flower powder and a hemp oil emulsifier. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the economic and environmental benefits of cannabis along with its promising therapeutic applications.
