Created under the impetus of the Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) and the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ICESCO), the “Women in Sciences” Chair aims to support Research & Innovation work in the field of Artificial Intelligence by making equality, inclusion and diversity in artificial intelligence a fundamental basis.
The “Women in Sciences” chair’s mission is to:
- Create a reference framework to conduct and develop research work in partnership with the Moroccan industrial world;
- Attract more doctoral students and especially female doctoral students in the field of AI, with a stated desire to support and promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital sector;
- Build links with the best laboratories in the world thanks to the UEMF's large network of partners via its School of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (EIDIA), the first engineering school in this field on a Euro-scale. Africa.
